new semester...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

welcome back to the second semester of foundation studies programme.....

this semester,we will focus in introduction to information technology.....

hence,as the first week,we started with learning about data and information

data is raw facts that can be in the form of numbers, characters, symbols, pictures or even sounds

while information is data that is organized and meaningful.

we also learn about information management(MI) where it  is a general term that refers to managing any kind of information.

  MI was defined as a collection and management of information from one or more sources and the distribution of that information to one or more audiences.
